BREEDERS BONUS
Bonuses are payable to NSW Breeders Challenge eligible and sustained horses.
2YO – Breeders of NSW Breeders Challenge eligible and sustained 2YOs will receive a cash bonus to the value of $3,000 for their horse’s first win of the season in NSW. This bonus shall only be paid if the 2YO horse:
- Won a 2YO only race
- Won if they were nominated in a 2YO only race and were subsequently balloted out of that 2YO only race.
3YO – Nominators of NSW Breeders Challenge eligible 3YOs will receive a cash bonus to the value of $3,000 for their horse’s first win of the season in NSW:
- Won a 3YO only race
- Won if they were nominated in a 3YO only race and were subsequently balloted out of that 3YO only race.
4YO – If a 4YO horse has not won a bonus as a 2YO or 3YO, the bonus is payable upon the horse’s first win in NSW
5YO and older – Provided a 5YO and older horse has not won a bonus as a 2YO, 3YO or 4YO and the first win is in NSW, and the horse was sustained as either a 2YO or 3YO the bonus will be paid.
