FOAL NOMINATORS BONUS

Bonuses are payable to NSW Breeders Challenge eligible and sustained horses.

2YO – Nominators of NSW Breeders Challenge eligible 2YOs will receive a cash bonus to the value of $3,000 for their horse’s first win of the season in NSW. This bonus shall only be paid if the 2YO horse:

1. Won a 2YO only race
2. Won any other race, only if they were nominated in a 2YO only race and were subsequently balloted out of that 2YO only race.

3YO – Nominators of NSW Breeders Challenge eligible 3YOs will receive a cash bonus to the value of $3,000 for their horse’s first win of the season in NSW:

1. Won a 3YO only race
2. Won any other race, only if they were nominated in a 3YO only race and were subsequently balloted out of that 3YO only race.

4YO – If a 4YO horse has not won a bonus as a 2YO or 3YO, the bonus is payable upon the horse’s first win in NSW

5YO and older – Provided a 5YO and older horse has not won a bonus as a 2YO, 3YO or 4YO and the first win is in NSW and the horse was sustained as either a 2YO or 3YO the bonus will be paid.

Bonuses are paid to the Foal Nominator – The Foal Nominator is the person who owns the foal when it is born, not necessarily the person who puts the mare in foal.

Bonuses are applicable to both Pacers and Trotters.

*The Foal Nominator of NSW Breeders Challenge eligible and sustained horses receive 10% of the race’s total advertised 1st place prizemoney for all 2YO & 3YOs that win a Group 1 race in Australia (excluding NSW Breeders Challenge Finals as there is already a prizemoney percentage for nominators built into these events).
